Frequently asked questions.

Do you offer boarding?

At this current time, I do not offer boarding overnight or doggie daycare. My current options are overnight in-home pet-sitting (see below for more info) and 1 hour or 30 minute dog walks.

How does pet-sitting work?

I offer in-home pet-sitting, i.e. I sit your pet in your home overnight. I currently do not offer boarding but am happy to make a recommendation if that’s what you’re looking for. During my pet-sitting stays your animal may be left alone for up to three hours as I have a regular batch of client’s I am walking for. Dog-friendly dogs are welcome to join on walks but no worries if not, they will get their own walks :) Walks are included in my sitting rate. You can read more about my overnight rates on my Rates page

I’m looking for a dog-trainer, can you help?

I do not offer dog-training. My preferred practice is to help connect folks with a local trainer I trust who can help develop a tailored training plan for your pup. I try to commands and training methods owner use to reinforce positive training and maintain consistency. At the end of the day, my goal is to create happy, tired doggos.

My dog doesn’t get along with other dogs, will that be an issue?

Not a problem! Solo walkers are welcome and dog-friendliness is not a prerequisite for joining the pack- all personalities welcome! I have ample experience exercising and working with dogs with varying degrees of leash-reactivity and behavioral challenges. My goal is to provide your pup with an experience that is peaceful, positive, conflict-free and of course leaves them sufficiently tuckered out.

I would like to get my dog more socialized, can you help?

Yes! I take care in assessing and getting to know all the dogs I walk and take great joy in setting them up on ‘dog dates’ with well-suited playmates. If you’re interested in getting your dog set up with more dog-time don’t hesitate to reach out via my Contact form!
